Kids First Stand Up! program

Kids First is an independent child and family services provider and early education specialist. Their vision is for all children and young people to thrive in resilient, strong and safe families and communities. 

Stand Up! is a face-to-face, facilitated experience for students over four sessions. The program is so popular it was difficult to further scale the impact with facilitators alone. Kids First approached Curio with the challenge; “How might we scale this important program and reach more young people through a digital experience?”. 

Curio brought together an experienced team with capabilities in facilitation, design, development and consulting to deliver this project for Kids First.  

Curio partnered with Kids First to: 

• Run stakeholder consultations with schools, teachers, students and parents, 
• Translate the insights into a refined program design, user personas and journeys, 
• Facilitate ideation workshops, 
• Design and develop functional requirements, workflows, prototypes,  
• Design and build the course content and digital platform, and 
• Develop a business and marketing plan to take the experience to market. 

Throughout the project, we have been transparent and collaborative, working in partnership to achieve the desired outcome. The project is scheduled to be launched in Term One, 2022.
